San Diego Filipino Cinema celebrates global Filipino stories, perspectives, and films. We celebrate the filmmakers and their creative collaboration with the diverse creative community and landscape. As we come closer to the San Diego Filipino Film Festival, San Diego Filipino Cinema stands in solidarity with the Screen Actors Guild and the Writers Guild of America and all the actors, writers and creatives in the film industry in their fight to secure equitable working conditions and a better future for the whole film industry. We hope that both parties will be able to reach a fair agreement as soon as possible. This fall, in commemoration of Filipino American History Month, we will continue to turn a spotlight on our underrepresented stories, humanity, history, and future through Filipino cinema. Join us in celebrating over 100 independent films selected this year (in-person and online) at the Third Annual San Diego Filipino Film Festival happening from October 3rd through the 8th.
